5 Things Every Successful Salesperson Has

Well let’s get back to the o’l game of sales….

You know, after years of leading a sales team and hustling in the field, I've come to realize that there are 5 things that every successful salesperson has in their arsenal.

So, let's dive into the playbook and uncover what it takes to dominate the sales game!

First off, consistent activity is the name of the game. I'm talking about those daily actions that pave the way to success. Yes, the majority of the time, we're not sealing the deal. It's a sport, and embracing failure is part of the journey. But remember, the one who hears the most no's is also the one who hears the most yeses. On to the next!

Next up - a consistent process. It's not just about doing the same activities, but about having a clear process in place. Whether it's the sales script, emails, or calls, having a clear and consistent process is key. No more winging it every day – that's just insanity.

Then, there's the art of writing a compelling script. It's all about putting some thought into it and shaping your pitch in a way that resonates. Trust me, anything you write down with intention is better than any garbage coming out on a whim.

Now, let's talk about managing those emotions. Yes, we all face more no's than yeses, and that's just a part of the game. We need to optimize for the no's and manage our emotions. It's about looking at the math, hitting those numbers, and sticking to the script – literally.

And finally, manage the math. Get really good at those KPIs - know your numbers like the back of your hand. Let the math guide you and help you optimize every move you make.

So, my fellow sales warriors, remember this – sales is not just a job. It's a sport! It's not about being naturally gifted, it's about mastering these 5 essential strategies. Embrace them, practice them, and watch yourself dominate the game.

Stay hungry, stay focused, and keep grinding.

The person that hears the most NO's is going to hear the most YESes.
