Unleashing the Power of Impact: 6 Universal Principles for Massive Business Success
By: Jason Feltman
Get ready to buckle up, because I'm about to drop some serious knowledge bombs in our first newsletter!
I am beyond excited to share my first Impact Insights with you all. When I say impact, I mean the kind of influence that changes lives.
It's the force that shapes who we are and what we do.
Let's start with the three P's of business - people, process, and product. Listen up, because this is important.
Without people, there is no process or product. People are the biggest factor in all of our businesses. They're the key to making it all work!
Here's a little secret - have you heard of the 80/20 principle? Basically, it means that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. When you apply this to the three P's, you'll see that people are where you can get the most out of the three. They're your highest leverage point.
Who are these people? Your team, your clients, your network, and yourself.
These groups can make or break your business.
Let's be real, people are tough. Emotions and feelings are involved, and there's no black and white way to handle them. It's a challenge to figure out how to show up the right way for all of your people, hire the best people for your team, attract your perfect clients, and network with the right people.
Well, I've got good news! I've found six universal principles that can create a massive impact when it comes to all of “the people”.
Start with the WHY: Understand why people do what they do, and connect with them on a deeper level by getting more connected with your own why.
Create more value: Build your business the way you want it, and give more to others. Leading with value you will create tremendous equity and trust with the people you serve.
Prioritize relationships over transactions: Long-term gain is more valuable than short-term gain, so focus on keeping relationships rather than bouncing around from transaction to transaction.
Always be authentic: Hold your core values and beliefs sacred and never compromise them. Not only will this make your entrepreneurship more sustainable and enjoyable, it will magnetize the people you want to your business.
Share your stories: Captivate your audience by sharing stories, including struggles and pain. People can sense authenticity and will learn the most from the truth of your how.
Be consistent: Consistency trumps intensity any day, so focus on building stability and trust with your brand over the long haul.

Beyond the Finish Line: Finding Freedom in the Journey, Not the Destination

Focusing on a specific result stifles your potential… part 1.
I know this because I lived it for 30+ years.
Are goals important? Of course.
But, what’s even more important is your why.
Here’s exactly what I mean…
Society, our experiences, and pretty much everything in our world rewards us for outcomes… achievements… results.
But, by living in a state of hyper-focus on these results our sense of self is quickly eroded.
Our identity becomes entangled in the outcomes and we miss the magic of the experience.
Don’t believe me? Well, here’s a story to back it up.
As an Ultrarunner I spent years hyper-focused on the finish line. Finishing each race was my why. It’s likely that the only way I was able to finish grueling 100 mile trail races was because I was so hell-bent on that outcome. Stubbornly latched on to this obsessive result-based goal.
However, after several years of living and breathing this outcome-based why - I realized something wild. I’d get to the finish line - I’d achieve “the goal” - and I would feel utterly empty inside. Depressed. Deflated.
I was left to question everything. How could this be? I worked so hard to achieve these things and … this…?!
The truth is, my identity had become so enmeshed with the result that I was obsessed with the finish line and missing out on the actual experience.
Furthermore, the first time I failed to finish a race, I experienced an extremely unhealthy level of disappointment - enlightening an even deeper truth that my ego was really what was guiding me, all along.
Queue ego death cataclysm of 2021 (in hindsight the best thing that has ever happened to me for my mental health and spiritual growth - but, that is a story for another time).
Through all of that here’s what I learned…
My why wasn’t big enough.
My why wasn’t deep enough.
My focus was on the wrong thing.
Stay with me…
In my career I’ve always been motivated by my advancement. Which, not only goes unquestioned … it's celebrated in our culture.
But, have you ever gotten to the top of the proverbial mountain, gotten the raise, or hit your revenue target and still felt the crushing sensation of, “I’m still not there”?!
If so, reply. Tell me more. And know that part 2 of this article is FOR YOU.

As Kesha once said, “This place about to blow-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh”.
We don’t know about y’all - but, who’s got time to keep up with the latest?
Don’t worry - we’ll keep tabs and report the latest - so you don’t have to.
🤖GenerativeAI is rapidly advancing. Queue AutoGPT.
What is it?
Think ChatGPT on steroids with full-automation and project management capabilities.
How does it work?
AutoGPT uses something called “stacking” to layer and iterate its own prompts. This allows the model to complete projects with generative AI. In a sense, it allows the program to reason with its programming and learn how to complete things as efficiently as possible.
What’s the Catch?
At this stage in the game, the amount of prompting and programming required is vast and so is the cost. We still have a ways to go before Skynet.

Feeling like you can’t get anything to STICK?
Results are tricky if you're throwing darts at a wall with a blindfold on.
We did the research - so, you don’t have to.
